Our names are Tom and Abi (or Thomas and Abigail for long :). Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and THANK YOU for choosing life for your child. You are an incredibly strong woman and we’re already impressed by you. Whatever the coming days and years hold, we want to be there to help you, pray with you, and just talk. You are not alone! We hope to meet you, get to know you, and stay in contact with you, for as long as you wish.

We know you are faced with lots of hard choices. Choosing life for your little baby being the most important. We would be honored to raise your little baby, and are excited too!

WHO ARE WE?

Tom is super smart – he has that look where he is always thinking. When he says something witty or silly (which is often) people look surprised because he has such a serious expression. I love him! We were both home-schooled. We were introduced in 2012 on Tom’s community college graduation day after we jumped into a group photo; it was love at first sight. Tom graduated from OU in 2016 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and has worked as an engineer ever since. Tom is the oldest of 9 siblings – he has been around kids his whole life and loves them.

Abi always has a smile on her face. She is happy, friendly, and hard-working. She has worked in banking, finance and real estate for several years. Yes, we are nerds. Abi currently works for a real estate company in OKC. She finished her bachelor’s degree from UCO in business in 2019. Abi has loved kids since she was a child. As a pre-teen she worked part-time babysitting. “It was a rewarding opportunity to love on and care for infants”. Abi also has a large family – she has 5 sisters! Abi feels blessed to have been present for a few of their births and to live close as they grow up.

WHY ADOPTION?

Abi received some news as a teenager that she would be unable to have children. “At 17 years old, it felt like the world was ending”. Meeting guys was scary for Abi, knowing she would eventually have to tell them… But Tom didn’t shy away, he was gun-ho for adoption from the get-go! It was at that time Tom reminded Abi that when we choose to give our hearts to Jesus, we are ALL ADOPTED into the kingdom of God. While we pray now for little babies’ first adoption, we also pray for babies’ second adoption into His kingdom!

FAMILY:

Both of our folks live close by. Both sets of parents are still married – rare, we know! We’re very blessed to have loving, godly families. Abi’s future plans are to stay home with our first adopted child, “I want to be there for them every day. Be the one that takes care of them, teaches them, and lets them know they are loved”. We have a nephew who was recently adopted and is only a few months old. We look forward to welcoming the next adopted addition!
