November is National Adoption Month
National Adoption Month is an initiative of the Children’s Bureau that seeks to increase national awareness of adoption issues. The initiative began as National Adoption Week in 1984, as proclaimed by President Reagan. President Clinton then proclaimed the first National Adoption Month in 1995. (Source) At Deaconess Pregnancy & Adoption, we celebrate adoption every day, but we’re glad to dedicate November to spreading awareness of this great option!

Help Us Spread the Word About National Adoption Month
We’ve created these resources, specifically with our local churches in mind. We hope you will join us in bringing awareness to the gift of adoption this November!
We believe that families are God’s idea and it is our privilege to walk with expectant parents, birth families, and adoptive families throughout their journey. We want to help equip you to share about adoption with your congregation. Download our free media kit below.
