Meet Michael & Kinzie

“It takes a very strong, courageous, and loving person to choose what you have chosen. We have the greatest respect and admiration for your decision.”
Michael & Kinzie

Dear Birth Family,

We want to begin by telling you a little bit about our family and our story. Our journey to parenthood has been full of highs and lows. We tried to have a baby for around two years before we finally met with a doctor. The doctors decided that in vitro was going to be our best option. However, we later learned that even with that procedure we had an extremely low chance to succeed. Through many tears and prayers we felt God’s loving hand touch our hearts. We listened to His command to trust in Him, and that He would provide us a child through adoption. We could not have felt more peace, throughout that time.

We have gotten to see first hand that the Lord honors the desires of our hearts as we follow His lead and trust His ways. In March of 2013, God gave us the most precious gift through adoption, our son Isaac. He has changed our lives and bonded us as a family. He is full of joy, laughter, and playfulness. He is a people person and absolutely adores kids. His heart is so sweet and generous. He reminds us daily of how faithful our God is.

We cannot begin to express how thankful we are for the gift you are considering giving us. Although we have no idea what you look like on the outside, we know that your heart is full of selflessness and love. It takes a very strong, courageous, and loving person to choose what you have chosen. We have the greatest respect and admiration for your decision.

We later would experience a different kind of trial through adoption, but remained focused on the Lord and relied on his faithfulness, knowing that his plan is far better than our own. In April of 2015, we received a phone call from Deaconess that there were not only one but two babies waiting for us at the hospital! We drove to OKC and were overwhelmed with thankfulness and admittedly no clue how to raise twins! We saw the Lord’s kindness as we quickly went from a family of three to a family of five. Grace and Gannon have completely changed our lives and all for the better.

We love being parents and have enjoyed every season of their lives. With every new milestone and each new word you will find the two of us grinning ear to ear and laughing right along with them. Each time one of them hugs us and kisses us we are overcome with a feeling of gratitude to their birth parents and families.

In January of 2020 we got yet another call from Deaconess about a little girl who was expected to be born mid-March. Much to our surprise she was born five and a half weeks early and we welcomed her into the family on February 10th! Aleigh has been surprising us ever since. We are so thankful for her. She is full of joy and orneriness; we wouldn’t have her any other way! It has been such a blessing to watch the four of them form a bond that is so strong. We have seen how important it has been for our older three to get to walk through things together being close in age and we would like the same for Aleigh as she gets older.

We are forever grateful for the opportunity to become parents to the four of them. It is our hope and prayer to continue to grow our family through adoption.  We are also praying that the Lord would grant you peace and pour out His many blessings to you in the days to come as we continue to pray. We promise to never forget the love and trust that you have shown our family. We cannot wait to add a love like yours to our family. We promise to dedicate our lives to loving, caring for, and raising our child. It is our greatest hope to raise our children in a Christ centered, happy, and loving home.

With Great Love,

Michael, Kinzie, Isaac, Gannon, Grace, and Aleigh
