Aly joined DPA in January 2021 as an adoption specialist intern but transitioned to working in the counseling center as a therapist in June 2021. As the daughter of someone who was adopted at birth, she is passionate about the joy, restoration, and beauty that the Lord can bring forth through adoption. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish, Aly earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma and is excited to serve individuals and families in the counseling center.
Outside of the office, you can find Aly enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends, cooking new recipes, or reading. Her favorite passage of scripture is from Isaiah 55: “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
