Jon & Ashley

Hello,

Our names are Jon and Ashley! We want to say thank you for choosing us, through your courage and sacrifice to help us start a family that we have so greatly prayed for.   We realize that this is a great and generous gift, and, if we are chosen, will not be taken lightly. We understand the great burden you have in making this decision and want you to understand that we will create a fun, loving, and exciting life for the child(ren) that we humbly receive.

Jon and I have been trying to have children for most of our 6 years of marriage. We found out very early that the chances of our having biological children was less than 1% naturally.  In 2019, I felt God had placed on my heart to literally put a scripture as a tattoo on my arm so I would see it every day. That scripture is Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid; For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”. God knows every detail of our futures.  He cares about you and your circumstances! He knows the pain and struggle you may be having, and He is with you even in this, perhaps the hardest decision you are making.

We pray that you find peace in knowing that He has you and we will too! If you decide to choose us, we will be eternally grateful and we will raise your child to know the God of strength, bravery, compassion, and comfort, just like He is for everyone that calls on Him.  We see this adoption as a new chapter and adventure in our lives and we have prayed for you!

We are a fun, friendly and active couple who are always doing things with our families and friends. We are excited to have a child that we can take on trips with us and see the joy and adventure on their face as we do. We want to give our child a fun and exciting life in every aspect.

Jon and I are planning for me to be a stay-at-home mom for at least the first few years. Jon has an amazing job that allows for us to have that ability.  Jon and I have also been weighing the ideas of homeschooling or not, as we see the pros and cons of both options and will make decisions for what we feel are best to enable your child to succeed.

We believe that your child is a gift from God and are unique in their own ways. We are willing to raise a child of any ethnicity, knowing that we will need to research, explore and learn to ensure that their own culture is not lost!  We go to a multigenerational and multiracial church and know that our children, whoever God had created them as, will be accepted and loved by all people in our lives. We are firm believers in that everyone is unique!  We believe that whoever God chooses for us will be on purpose!  We are excited to see what adventure and path God has set before us.
