First, we want to thank you. We know that deciding to create an adoption plan is not a decision that is made easily, and we admire your strength. We hope that you feel confident and supported in whatever decision you make, for you and for your baby.

If we were to meet you and be given 2 minutes to introduce ourselves, here are the basics we would want you to know. We are Jacob and Lauren. We met in August 2015 and married in February 2018. We live on an elk farm in a barndominium with our two dogs, Echo and Duke. We both come from very close-knit families. We live in the same rural community where Jacob grew up. In fact, we live only a mile away from Jacob’s parents and Jacob’s sister’s family and only a few miles from several of Jacob’s extended family members. While we might live 3 hours from Lauren’s family, we do see them often, either visiting them or them visiting us. We both are practicing Catholics, Jacob since birth and Lauren converted in 2019. A few things we both love is spending time with friends and family, watching sports, playing golf, being outdoors, playing board games or cards, traveling, and attending live music events. Jacob is a journeyman electrician for a local electrical contractor in town, who is also a family friend. Lauren is a former high school math teacher and coach who now works in global human resources for a company based in Arkansas and gets to work from home. Both of us have great bosses and have flexibility within our jobs. Our favorite day of the week is Sunday because it is always filled with family. Most of our Sundays start with mass, then the whole family goes to Jacob’s parents for family lunch. With Sunday being the day of rest in the Bible, we take that to heart and spend the rest of our Sunday doing things we love! This includes things like relaxing at home, working on the farm, or golfing together.

We have been praying for the day that we become parents and cannot wait to give a child a life full of love and laughter, faith and family, and adventure and travels.

We are continuously praying for you and your baby, and no matter the choice you make, we believe it is within God’s plan.
