We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share with you about our family. We are Bennett, Jenni, and our daughter Tatum. Words cannot describe our gratitude for you and your consideration of an adoption plan for your child. We are very excited to travel down this journey of adoption to expand our family. We know that you will look through many books and read about various families, and we hope that as you look through our book you will be able to see who we are and the life that your child would experience in our family. We have been praying for you and will continue to pray for you throughout this journey for health for you and the baby and for wisdom to make the choice that is best for you and your child. We want to acknowledge you and your courage for even considering adoption, thank you!

We would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. Bennett loves the outdoors. He primarily enjoys hunting and fishing but also likes to go swimming and boating on the lake.  He also loves working with his tools by making different things out of wood.  Bennett graduated college from Southwestern Oklahoma State and is an Oklahoma State fan loyal and true. Go POKES!  Jenni loves to cook, do crafts, hunt, fish and swim all summer with our family. Jennifer graduated from Oklahoma State University and is loyal and true to her alma mater! Go POKES! Our daughter Tatum is truly the joy of our lives. She is currently in first grade and is thriving in school. She plays soccer and loves to ride her horse; her ultimate love is swimming and spending all summer in her grandparent’s pool or at the lake on the boat. She plays such a big role in our desire to adopt. We have tried for numerous years to expand our family and she prays every day, twice a day without fail for a baby brother or sister to join our family. I assure you she is also currently praying for you!

Family is very important to us. We are extremely close to our family and spend most holidays and large majority of our summer with them. If you choose us, you will be part of our family and your child will always know how they came to our family and about the person you are that made such a loving choice for them. We pray that you will always be apart of our story and grow in love with us. Whatever that looks like for you we would like to honor that as much as we can. We know walking with DAP in this process that we are open to contact with you that meets both of our needs to raise this child to know how much they are truly loved from not only us but from you!

The most important thing that we want you to know about us is our love of Christ. Bennett volunteers with our church in multiple ways from helping with handy man jobs around the campus to being on a member of the finance team.  He has been assisting in the youth during the summer at our annual Youth Church Camp at Falls Creek. Jenni is very involved with our youth and teaches our 6, 7, 8th grade girls every Sunday. Our friend group is made up of Christ loving people that we want to share our lives with. Our children are growing up together grounded in Christ’s love for them. We would not be on this journey of adoption if it were not for prayer and God’s guidance. We promise to love your child and raise them in a Christian home. We love our church family and cannot wait to introduce them to the newest member or our family.

Another important group in our life is our close and best friends which we consider to be an extension of our family.  We have a strong and close friend group from Church that we spend time together multiple times every month.  Our kids refer to each other as cousins and call the parents Aunt and Uncle. Our favorite activities are getting together to watch our Pokes play football.  We also have been planning a friend vacation or FriendCation, that we all go together somewhere and spend time enjoying each other’s company once a year.  This is important because we want you to know that not only would your child be joining our family, but they would also be surrounded by multiple families that will love them and support them in everything they do.
