Angels of Destiny 2015: An Evening with Kevin Sorbo
Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoptions in Oklahoma City is pleased to invite you to our 8th annual Angels of Destiny fundraising dinner on August 25, 2015. This year our featured speaker will be Kevin Sorbo, the star of Hollywood film God’s Not Dead and the unforgettable TV show The Legend of Hercules.
Along with a delicious dinner and a chance to win prizes in an exciting raffle, you will hear Kevin’s story of triumph over personal pain and hardship. You’ll learn how he dealt with his own challenges, including how he overcame an undiagnosed aneurysm in his shoulder that led to a series of strokes which left him partially blind and barely able to walk. Kevin’s inspiring story will encourage you to face your own problems head-on and inspire you to see the good in any situation.
Kevin is one in a long history of inspiring and touching speakers at our Angels of Destiny events. Previous speakers at our Angels of Destiny events include country music star Jimmy Wayne; Pam Tebow, the mother of NFL quarterback Tim Tebow; and The Blind Side’s Leigh Anne Tuohy. All of these speakers have shared their messages of hope and compassion with our attendees in years past, and this year’s experience will surely be just as memorable and motivating.
The proceeds raised from our Angels of Destiny event will go toward supporting the free services provided to many in our community. Since our founding on December 31, 1900, Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoptions has helped children, women and families live happier, healthier lives. Your donations allow us to continue this mission and support more people who need our help.
